Today we did mostly Halloween songs like "Fly little bats" and "The witch rides her broom" and then a fingerplay called "Jack O Lantern", where the children get to show their scary faces.
In toddler time the kids did some more songs, the weather song and also days of the week songs and then it was onto snack time and after snack time the kids went outside and they played with the jumpropes and the balls.
Then we had a story called "Five little ghosts" and then we did a ingerplay called "Open and shut them".
After lunch the toddlers did a variety of activities like playing with the blocks and doing puzzles and also they watched a "Barney goes to the zoo" video.
After this Tomoko read "Five little ghosts" in Japanese and read also a story in Japanese that we had read earlier in english called "Big Green Monster".
We finished off by singing "In a Row" and also "Under the spreading chestnut tree".
